The Revopoint MetroY is a professional 3D scanner designed for engineers, designers, makers and quality control specialists who work with small and medium-sized components. The device scans objects from 10 × 10 × 10 mm up to 1 × 1 × 1 m, maintaining a high volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m). Wide range of scannable objects

The MetroY scanner can perfectly handle objects of various sizes: from small technical components (starting from 10 mm) to large objects up to 1 m. This allows efficient scanning of both small and precise parts and more complex structures without having to change devices. This versatility allows the product to be used in a variety of design and production processes, both in small studios and in large industrial plants.

Different scan modes to choose from

The MetroY uses a set of 30 blue laser cross lines, 15 parallel lines and a single line, allowing for accurate scanning of a wide variety of objects. There are also different modes to choose from. Cross-Lines makes it easy to capture shiny and dark materials, Parallel-Lines works well for fine and complex details, and Single-Line allows you to accurately capture the geometry of deep holes, channels, and hard-to-reach areas using markers.

High mapping accuracy and stability

The device provides a volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m), which ensures data consistency throughout the model, even when working with larger parts. This is very important in engineering, where the scanner is used for dimensional inspection, component matching, or shape verification.

Fast data acquisition

Scan speeds of up to 1,500,000 dots per second reduce the time to prepare 3D models, which is especially important when there are a large number of scans or the process needs to be repeated frequently. The multiline laser works stably and efficiently, making it easier to work in areas that require rapid data acquisition without compromising quality.

Spray-free operation on selected surfaces

MetroY allows you to scan many dark and glossy surfaces without using spray first. In many cases, this reduces setup time and simplifies the entire process. In more demanding situations, such as with transparent, highly reflective or metallic surfaces, it is possible to apply the spray as indicated for optimal results.

Affordable connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 and USB-C

MetroY can operate wirelessly or wirelessly. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity allows you to quickly transfer data to your computer or mobile device, giving you full freedom of movement when scanning. The USB-C port, on the other hand, provides a stable and fast connection, useful, for example, in a laboratory environment or for long scanning sessions.

Ergonomic design and low weight

The Metro scanner only weighs about 447 g, so you can use it comfortably for long periods, without feeling tired. The ergonomic handle allows you to confidently guide the device along complex edges and surfaces, and a set of four buttons allows you to use it intuitively.

A complete set ready for action

The kit includes not only the scanner, but also a USB-C to USB-C cable, a power adapter, a calibration card, a carrying case, and 200 markers. This makes the device ready to use immediately after purchase, without the need to purchase additional items. In addition, the MetroY model is compatible with the Marker Block Kit and the Mobile Kit (third generation), which expands its application possibilities.

Revo Metro Advanced Software

The Revo Metro software allows the processing of scan data and the preparation of models for future work. It supports export to PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF and FBX formats for seamless integration into popular applications. Compatibility with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS gives users the flexibility to work on their preferred platform.
